Gujarat and hosts Rajasthan played out a 1-1 draw in Group I of the 79th Santosh Trophy National Football Championship at the Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur on Friday. Rajasthan forward Amit Kumar scored a goal in the third Minute of the match to put his team ahead 1-0. Till half time, the score remained 1-0 in Rajasthan’s favour. Gujarat dominated possession in the first half and during the second half as well. Gujarat found the equaliser later in the half, when Akshay Mal headed home Moinudin’s cross.
