As Host for the 75th Santosh Trophy (West Zone) Group A at Bhavnagar,Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University Football Stadium,Gujarat Beat Goa to qualify for the Final Round of 75th Santosh Trophy.

Welcome to the website of Gujarat State Football Association (GSFA). Football is at a nascent level in India, especially in Gujarat. A lot more efforts are needed to nurture and generate greater interest in this game. It is gathering momentum with tournaments like Indian Super League. My focus will be on further improving levels of both the boys and girls’ teams from Gujarat.

GRASSROOTS

Grassroots football is football for boys and girls between 6-12 years of age. Grassroots football is simple, fun and easy to organize and is an introduction to the game for any child. It provides children the access to football in a safe, enjoyable and positive environment.

REFERRING

You need to find a local Football Association located in every State, ie any Member Association (MA) of GSFA. Once you join the Association, they will train you on the rules and mechanics to become a Caegory-5 (lowest level) Referee. Depending on your aptitude, you may start officiating games of lower division in your first season itself!
