The Gujarat State Senior Football Team departed for Jaipur this evening to participate in the 79th National Football Championship 2025–26.

Gujarat has been placed in Group I along with the teams of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Diu–Daman.
